The Alabama Learning Conference (ALC) was created by Rocket City Mom as a natural extension of our mission to support families in Alabama. At Rocket City Mom, we’re all about connecting parents and caregivers with the resources they need – and since education is such a vital part of raising children, we saw a need to bring educational opportunities together under one roof.

What began with our Learning Expo in 2013, which introduced families to local educational resources, has grown into the Alabama Learning Conference – a free, community-centered event that fully brings this vision to life.

ALC is designed to serve all students, regardless of whether they are in public school, private school, or homeschool. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where families can explore educational options, connect with curriculum providers and schools, participate in engaging activities, and discover college, career, and extracurricular opportunities.

By hosting ALC, Rocket City Mom continues our commitment to building stronger communities through access, information, and empowerment – because when families are informed, students thrive.
